How to Clean the Menstrual Cup
Boiling the menstrual cup only on the first and last day of your period is sufficient. Boil it for 2–5 minutes.
You can use a pot, microwave, electric kettle, or sterilizer. Make sure the cup is fully submerged in water. If using a microwave sterilizing container, remove the lid before heating.
During your period, you can simply wash the cup with mild soap. When emptying the cup during the day, you can wipe it with a wet tissue or rinse it with clean water, then dry it before reinserting.
Always wash your hands thoroughly before removing or inserting the cup.

How to Insert the Menstrual Cup
Hold the cup firmly with two fingers and apply a small amount of lubricant to the rim of the cup.
Squat down or slightly bend your knees, and try to relax.
Insert the cup until more than half of it is inside the vagina. Then use one finger to hold the folded area in place so that the cup does not open too early.
Push the cup upward and slightly backward, following the natural angle of the vaginal canal. The stem of the cup should be completely inside the vagina.
If the cup is inserted far enough, you should not feel any pain. During the first few uses, you may experience a slight feeling of tightness or pressure.

How to Check Whether the Cup Has Fully Opened
There are two ways to check:
Use your finger to feel around the rim of the cup.
Gently tug the stem downward. If the cup has fully opened and formed a seal, it should not move downward easily.
To be sure, observe throughout the day whether there is any leakage. You may want to wear a pantyliner as extra protection during the first few uses.
If the cup does not fully open, try these two methods:
Hold the base of the cup and gently twist or rotate it.
Gently tug the stem while moving it slightly from side to side to bring the cup down a little. This may help the cup open fully.
